Attention Broome Residents 🌳 Community Notice: Tree Trimming Your safety is our top priority! Horizon Power will be in the area trimming trees to ensure a safe and reliable power supply. If trees aren't safely trimmed to greater than 5 metres from powerlines it can cause fires, serious accidents and loss of power, posing serious risks to our community. While tree trimming is typically the owner's responsibility, Horizon Power will step in if there is a safety risk. Please note, we are not arborists and cannot accommodate specific trimming requests. The branches on shire property will be collected, but this may take a few days—we appreciate your patience. For more information on maintaining a safe community, click below. If you encounter a damaged or fallen powerline call us immediately at 13 23 51.
