Household and Small Business Electricity Credit (2024)

Public Notice: Burrup Common User Transmission Infrastructure
Horizon Power is proposing to expand the North-West Interconnected System (NWIS) electricity network, by constructing an approximately 7 kilometre (km) long 132 kilovolt (kV) overhead transmission line between the Dampier Substation and the Burrup Strategic Industrial Area (SIA). The Burrup SIA is not currently connected via transmission infrastructure to the NWIS. -
Changes to electricity prices, fees and charges 2024
This year the WA State Government has announced changes to most electricity tariffs, in line with inflation. These changes come into effect from 1 July 2024.

Severe weather expected along Gascoyne coast this Saturday
We’re closely monitoring ex Tropical Cyclone Lincoln – forecast to re-intensify overnight and expected to impact the far west Pilbara and Gascoyne coast on Saturday. Our crews are well prepared and on standby to respond to any potential damage to electrical infrastructure. We’ve also postponed any planned maintenance in the region until further notice. -

In a significant step towards sustainability, Derby Regional Hospital has embraced renewable energy with the activation of a new 364-kilowatt rooftop solar photo-voltaic (PV) system.
Derby Regional Hospital's carbon emissions and annual energy consumption are set to fall, thanks to a $1.4 million investment by the Cook Government in large-scale rooftop solar.

$530,575 Awarded to 65 Regional Community Organisations
Horizon Power is proud to support regional and remote Western Australia by awarding $530,575 to 65 community organisations as part of our Community Partnerships Program Round 7. This significant funding will provide vital support to numerous community initiatives across the regions we serve, strengthening the fabric of these communities.
