If the outage restoration time is listed as ‘Unknown’

Extensive damage to the network is likely. Crews must make the site safe first before starting restoration work. This damage usually results from major incidents like storms, bushfires, or cyclones. If several outages happen at the same time in one suburb or town, repairs may not restore power to all affected properties at once.

This situation makes it difficult to give an estimated restoration time to all customers. Our crews always aim to restore power as soon as it is safe to do so.

We thank you for your patience and understanding during these times when we’re unable to provide more information. Please remember to put your outage action plan in place on the day.
